W.M. (Mack) Lawhon, C.P.A., is Chairman of the Weaver accounting firm in Fort Worth. Mack has more than 40 years of public accounting experience in areas of partnership, individual, and estate tax planning. At Weaver, he has been significantly involved in the firm’s growth, strategy, and talent development. Mr. Lawhon represents and counsels clients in several major industries, including real estate, manufacturing, retailing and business services and, prior to his Chairmanship, has served as both Managing Partner and CEO at Weaver. Mack is a frequent lecturer on CPA firm management for both technical and lay audiences. He is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, the Texas Society of Certified Public Accountants, and serves on multiple boards including the Financial Accounting Foundation, Davey O’Brien Education Trust, Cook Children’s Medical Center, and Baker Tilly International.
Mack is a graduate of Southern Methodist University with a Bachelor Degree in Business Administration, Accounting.
