Our Partnership
TXWSW is proud to be a statewide partner for the 11 public all-girls schools across Texas that are a part of the Young Women’s Preparatory Network (YWPN). YWPN starts and supports all-girls, college preparatory public schools in underserved communities across the state. Since being founded in 2002, an astounding 100% of YWPN students have graduated from high school and 100% have been accepted to college, a remarkable achievement given that nearly 60% of the YWPN students statewide are from economically disadvantaged homes. Even more phenomenal, YWPN reports a six-year college graduation rate that is TWO times the national average for students from similar economic backgrounds, besting even higher-income schools by 17 percentage points.
What Your Gift Provides
YWPN’s success is a testament to the boundless potential that WE unlock when girls, regardless of their socio-economic background, are given the right opportunities. By supporting YWPN, we are doing more than educating girls; we are empowering young women to break the cycle of poverty and foster generational uplift. Join us in this life-changing work to cultivate a more equitable society where every young woman can realize her full potential. Your support is an investment that can make a real difference in their lives and in the fabric of our community.
