Dr. Michael “Mik” McCrea is an expert in the fields of Operations Research, Leadership Development, Change Management, and Negotiations.   He joined USAA in March of 2015, currently serving as a Director of Decision Sciences for USAA’s Financial Advisor Services Group. Dr. McCrea retired from the United States Army after 27 years of service in leader development and strategic analysis.   Prior to his retirement from the Army, he served as the Chairman, Department of Command, Leadership and Management at the United States Army War College and served as an instructor for future military and civilian strategic leaders, where he facilitated lessons in Strategic Thinking, Environmental Scanning and Forecasting, Ethical Reasoning, Organizational Culture, and Strategic Negotiations.
