TXWSW Q2 2026 Member Update

TXWSW Members,

As summer settles in, I hope you are finding meaningful ways to disconnect, recharge, and reset as we look ahead to an active second half of the year.

We began the year with strong momentum, anchored by another successful State of the Markets. The Belo welcomed nearly 300 attendees for a program featuring a distinguished slate of speakers on AI and the current economic landscape. We were also joined by students from the Young Women’s Preparatory Network, whose presence reflected the lasting impact of our work, and we closed the program with a raffle. If you were there for it, you know I’ve been spending the summer practicing my loud voice with my three boys.

We are especially grateful to the sponsors whose partnership sustains our mission, both in support of State of the Markets and throughout the year: A&O Shearman, AMG, Ares, Ascension Search Partners, BakerHostetler, Balyasny, Christine Breck, CohnReznick, Crestline Investors, Integris, KPMG, Paradigm Advisors, Sixth Street, Summit TX, Wanda Potts, Weaver and Winstead. Our thanks as well to the speakers, volunteers, and attendees who brought the program to life.

As we move into Q3 and Q4, our focus remains clear: strengthening membership growth and deepening engagement across our events.

Events

We continue to hear positive feedback about the recurring Coffee and Conversations gatherings taking place across our five chapters in Austin, Dallas, Fort Worth, Houston and San Antonio. If you have not yet attended one, details are available on our website. These gatherings are a welcome way to begin the workday, whether reconnecting with a familiar face or meeting someone new.

Each chapter has a full schedule of networking opportunities planned, including happy hours, golf and pickleball clinics and a member favorite – holiday luncheons. Please visit our website to register.

Our team is actively planning a robust fall lineup, and we are especially pleased to share that C-Suite, one of TXWSW’s legacy events, returns this October with gatherings in Dallas and Houston. C-Suite offers members a meaningful opportunity to connect with senior women leaders and hear their insights firsthand. Registration for both events is now open on our website, and we encourage you to reserve your place early. We are also excited to announce that an Austin C-Suite event is in the works, with more details to be shared soon. Stay tuned for updates.

Membership Growth

In response to consistent member feedback about staying connected between events, TXWSW has created a LinkedIn group exclusively for paid members. This space allows members to share relevant articles, exchange ideas, and continue building professional relationships. Invitations will be sent via email soon.

If TXWSW has been meaningful to your career, we invite you to encourage a colleague to join. Membership is open to all who share our commitment to advancing women in finance, including the men across our industry who support that mission.

Path to the TXWSW Board

A question we hear often is how one becomes a member of the Texas Wall Street Women board. The process is more accessible than many realize. Board service typically begins with volunteering on a committee or serving as a City Head, building experience and demonstrating commitment to our mission. From there, potential board members are recommended and invited to apply as positions become available. This year, we are sharing more details about the path through our Volunteer to Board Pathway campaign, which will be featured across our social media channels and within our private LinkedIn group for members.

Thank You

As an almost 100% all-volunteer staff, we are truly grateful to our City Heads and committee members: thank you. Your time, talent, and dedication make our programming and member experiences possible throughout the year. If you are interested in getting more involved as a volunteer, we invite you to reach out; we would love to have your support.

TXWSW remains committed to advancing opportunities for women across the finance industry, and I look forward to all we will accomplish together in the months ahead.

With gratitude,

Ashleigh White
