Tammy Gilbert is Executive Vice President and CIO of Corporate Technology Group, where she is responsible for providing technology to Fidelity’s corporate functions, ensuring strong digitally enabled capabilities that protects Fidelity’s brand and support the many Fidelity employees in making a difference for our customers every day.

Tammy also is a Texas Region Leader at Fidelity Investments, one of Fidelity’s largest domestic regions and home to thirty-five of Fidelity’s business units and over 5,000 associates. As a regional leader, she is responsible for the talent strategy, local brand, facilities, and community affairs.  She additionally is executive sponsor for the Women in Technology Special Interest Group  which promotes women growth in technology as well as acts as a mentors to several of our young technology employees.

Before Fidelity Investments, Tammy served as CIO and Vice President of IT at Trinity Industries, Inc. for four years. During her tenure at Trinity Industries, she developed transformational strategies to support growth, acquisitions, and IT security.

Tammy worked for Hewlett-Packard (HP) and Electronic Data Systems (EDS) for twelve years in senior IT leadership roles including Vice President of Transition and Transformation, Vice President of Delivery for the East Coast Division, and Client Executive managing several major accounts.    Tammy also held responsibility for a $7 billion portfolio of business with a global team in United States, India, Costa Rica, Brazil, Mexico, Argentina, Chile, Netherlands and Malaysia managing 35 data centers, 200 accounts, and over one million users.  Her career has included application development, infrastructure operations, contract and vendor management, program management, acquisition support and transformation and change management.

She has also held technology leadership roles at Sabre and American Airlines.  After earning a bachelor’s degree in computer science from Texas Christian University (TCU), Tammy began her IT career at the Harris Methodist Health System.   She was named a 2017 Distinguished CIO by the National Diversity Council of Texas, and currently serves as a Board Advisor to the McNeely School of Business at TCU. Tammy has been married for 39 years and she loves spending time outdoors with her family.
