Celebrating YWPN Schools in the U.S. News & World Report 2025 Best High Schools Rankings
As part of our commitment to supporting girls’ education and building the next generation of women leaders in finance and beyond, we are proud to celebrate the recent recognition of YWPN schools among the nation’s best.
Eight YWPN schools were recognized among the nation’s best, highlighting the dedication of students, teachers, and communities in preparing young women for college and career success.
- Three additional schools—Young Women’s STEAM Academy at Balch Springs (Dallas ISD), YWLA Midland (Midland ISD), and YWLA Aldine (Aldine ISD)—are not yet eligible for rankings but are building strong foundations for future recognition.
Highlights from the Rankings:
- Irma Rangel YWLS (Dallas ISD): #2 in Texas, #15 nationwide (up from #23 last year).
- Talkington School for Young Women Leaders (Lubbock ISD): #10 in Texas, #95 nationwide; #1 in Lubbock ISD.
- YWLA San Antonio (SAISD): #11 in Texas, #98 nationwide; top in San Antonio ISD.
- Ann Richards School for Young Women Leaders (Austin ISD): #17 in Texas, top 1% nationwide; #2 in Austin Metro.
- YWCPA Houston (HISD): #27 in Texas, top 1% nationwide; #5 in Houston Metro.
- YWLA Fort Worth (FWISD): #34 in Texas, top 1% nationwide; #12 in DFW Metro.
- YWLA Ysleta (Ysleta ISD): #40 in Texas, top 1% nationwide; #1 in El Paso Metro.
- YW STEAM Academy (El Paso ISD): #102 in Texas, top 3% nationwide.
