Shirley Jefferies is the Chief Financial Officer and Chief Compliance Officer of The Sterling Group, L.P., a Houston based private equity firm with approximately $1.0 billion in assets under management. Shirley joined Sterling in 2007 and is responsible for the financial management, administration and compliance of Sterling and its funds. Additionally, she serves as a resource for portfolio company CFOs with respect to finance, accounting and IT matters. Prior to joining Sterling, she was the Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of Loomis-US, one of the nation’s leading cash handling services companies. She began her career with Ernst & Young. Shirley is a Certified Public Accountant with a B.S. in Business Administration from Old Dominion University.
