Current Responsibilities
Sandy Reeves is the Vice President Treasury, Assistant Chief Investment Officer for Texas Health Resources, one of the largest non-profit healthcare systems in the United States.  Texas Health consists of 29 acute care, transitional, rehabilitation and short-stay hospitals that are owned, operated, joint ventured or affiliated. Ms. Reeves has been with Texas Health since 1987.  The treasury department oversees the investment and treasury management of over $5 billion in assets and a capital structure of ~$1.7 billion in tax exempt and taxable debt.
 
Education, Awards and Professional Affiliations
Ms. Reeves has a B.B.A. in finance from the University of Texas at Arlington.  She has earned the designation of Certified Treasury Professional (CTP) through the Association for Financial Professionals (AFP) and is a Fellow of the American College of Healthcare Executives (FACHE).  Ms. Reeves is a past president of the Fort Worth Association of Financial Professionals, a recipient of the AFP Honors award in 2006 and 2007, and has served on numerous committees at the local, state and national level for the AFP. She is a past presenter at the AFP Annual Conference, regional treasury conferences, and for the Healthcare Financial Management Association.  Ms. Reeves also serves on the investment committee for the American Excess Insurance Exchange (AEIX) and sits on the Healthcare Advisory Board for the University of Texas at Arlington.
