Andrew Rosell is a shareholder in the Fort Worth office of Winstead PC. He practices corporate law and leads the firm’s Investment Management and Private Funds Industry Group. Prior to joining Winstead, Mr. Rosell was a partner at Kelly Hart & Hallman LLP, and general counsel and chief compliance officer of Kleinheinz Capital Partners, Inc. He started his legal career as an associate with the international law firm of Akin Gump Strauss Hauer & Feld LLP. Mr. Rosell has a diverse practice representing wealth managers, managers and sponsors of private investment funds and mutual funds, family offices and public and private companies engaged in mergers and acquisitions. He has experience representing registered investment advisers in all aspects of their business, including: sponsor formation, fund formation, investment portfolio transactions, due diligence, regulatory compliance, and liquidation and business cessation.

Currently, Mr. Rosell serves on the board of trustees of the Cook Children’s Medical Center Foundation and the board of directors of the Cook Children’s Health Plan.

Previously, Mr. Rosell has served on the boards of Delta Biofuels, Inc., the Kleinheinz Family Endowment for the Arts and Education, the Fort Worth Hispanic Chamber of Commerce, and was also a member of Mayor Moncrief’s Special Study Committee regarding the City of Fort Worth’s natural gas revenue.

Mr. Rosell is married to Jennifer Kostohryz Rosell. They live in Fort Worth, Texas, with their two sons.
