Ali’s primary discipline is transaction services with a focus on buy, sell-side and carve-out engagements. Her background also includes founding and building-out Baker Tilly’s fund administration platform (private equity and real estate), working on strategy and management consulting engagements, and developing key accounts throughout the US. Ali also focuses on identifying and serving private equity firms and their portfolio companies.

Ali has actively participated in or consulted on 150+ transactions with total deal value over $5bn.

Prior to joining Baker Tilly, Ali was an investment professional at Rubicon Technology Partners in Menlo Park, California, where she focused on completing private equity transactions, collaborating closely with management teams on operational initiatives, and active management of several investments. Working at a start-up private equity fund was an experience that is foundational to who Ali is today to see transactions through the eyes of a private equity investor, a truly unique perspective in transaction advisory.

Ali began her career at PwC and MCG in audit. Ali was also a manager in Grant Thornton’s Transaction Advisory Services group working on both transaction diligence and integration.

Ali also leads Baker Tilly’s GROW (growth and retention of women) chapter in North Texas and is truly passionate about creating an environment at Baker Tilly for women to grow, develop, and ultimately thrive.
