Lacey Shrum is an attorney and entrepreneur. Her primary focus is on multiple projects implementing a traditional legal document into smart contracts, including a solution to a major problem faced by her RIA clients regarding fee calculation and contract management. She is a member of a hackathon team using blockchain to solve common inefficiencies in the ranching and agriculture industry. In a legal capacity, she advises emerging blockchain companies with business formation, fundraising, and risks particular to this new technology.
Her company H7 Consulting provides compliance consulting for RIA firms and private funds, with a specific focus on digital asset funds.  H7 provides fully customized operational controls for new risks associated with digital assets including AML/KYC, trading and code of ethics provisions.
As a blockchain advocate and educator, Lacey hosts a blog and monthly breakfast aimed at introducing those not traditionally involved in the technology space to blockchain and its effect on their careers, businesses, and lives. She is a regular speaker on blockchain, smart contract use cases and investing in cryptocurrencies.
