    Please join Texas Wall Street Women and Women in Technology International (WITI) for an evening with Allison Thacker, President of Rice Management Company and CIO of the Rice University Endowment. Allison will provide a brief introduction to the basics of Wall Street and stock prices for technology companies.

    • What fundamentals do analysts consider when setting target company valuations?
    • How do other factors impact stock price: for example, how can Google have such a high price/earnings ratio?
    • Which trends are shaping the technology industry going forward?

    Allison Thacker is President, Rice Management Company and Chief Investment Officer at Rice University. Previously, she was Managing Director of the RS Growth Group at RS Investments in San Francisco, where she managed a 10 person team responsible for 5 mutual funds and 2 institutional strategies with $1.9 billion under management. Allison has extensive experience in following the technology sector, especially the software and internet industries.
