She-Wolves Virtual Book Club – Join Us
Did you know Harvard Business School didn’t admit women until 1959? Or that Muriel Siebert became the first woman to buy a seat on the NYSE in 1967—but wasn’t actually welcome to work there? And that it took until 1974 for women to gain the legal right to open bank accounts without a man’s permission?
Our history in finance is surprisingly recent, and the women who blazed the trail faced obstacles we can barely imagine. She-Wolves: The Untold Story of Women on Wall Street by Paula Breen tells their remarkable stories—and reminds us how far we’ve come and how much work remains.
We’re thinking about hosting a virtual book club to discuss She-Wolves and share our own experiences navigating finance. Would you join us – complete this short survey and let us know.
