One of the much-touted leadership skills is self-awareness, and a recent Harvard Business Review article notes that while women have the edge in terms of self-awareness, women continue to be underrepresented in senior leadership roles and are paid less, so what gives? What was outstanding about this year’s list is that there are a record 25 female self-made billionaires on the list including Meg Whitman and Oprah Winfrey.
