One of the much-touted leadership skills is self-awareness, and a recent Harvard Business Review article notes that while women have the edge in terms of self-awareness, women continue to be underrepresented in senior leadership roles and are paid less, so what gives? It seems that most women underestimate their true value and unintentionally hold themselves back. The full article can be found here.

What was outstanding about this year’s list is that there are a record 25 female self-made billionaires on the list including Meg Whitman and Oprah Winfrey. Finally, how many times have we fought tooth and nail to find a solution to a seemingly intractable problem?
