Please join TXWSW San Antonio for a Luncheon Discussion: Making the “Imposter Syndrome” an Asset

If you have ever had the thought, “One of these days people will realize I am not as good, or as smart, as they think I am,” you are in good company! Women and men who experience the “impostor syndrome” think their accomplishments are the result of pure luck and that they don’t belong among their real-deal colleagues.  Our presenter Jenia Espe will share the latest research on the topic and  walk you through the techniques on how to use that fear as an asset.

Despite evidence that indicates you are skilled and quite successful, way too often we give fear the power to keep us from taking the actions needed to achieve our goals and highest potential. There are ways to conquer the impostor syndrome!  The key is to harness those feelings of inadequacy and use them as a positive.  You can train yourself to quickly identify it, manage it, and live without the acute fear that you are a fraud. Learn to not question yourself, but question your information.  Understand that seeking advice transforms your knowledge and assists in developing and expanding your vision.
