    Join us for a special evening with Jill Foote, CFA, PhD and Leah Bennett, CFA, CIC as they share with us their personal and professional journeys in Portfolio Management.

    These ladies will share with us their experiences, insights, ah-ha and uh-oh moments as they navigate successful careers in a male-dominated industry. Each will share with us briefly their journeys followed by a moderated Question & Answer session over a delightful meal at Piatto’s.

    Dr. Jill Foote worked in New York for Goldman Sachs for over 13 years before transitioning to higher education in her position as Senior Lecturer in Finance at Rice University’s Jesse H. Jones Graduate School of Business. She is also Director of the M.A. Wright Fund (the MBA student-managed investment portfolio) and Director of the El Paso Corporation Finance Center. Read more about Dr. Foote’s accomplishments here.

    Leah Bennett is Managing Director and Chief Investment Officer for King Investment Advisors, Inc. She has worked at King for over 17 years. Prior to joining King she was a research analyst at Capital Research & Management in Los Angeles. A graduate of Texas A&M, with a B.S. in Economics, Leah is the incoming CFA Institute Presidents’ Council Representative for the South Central United States, Latin and South America Region and a former President of the CFA Society of Houston. Learn more about Leah’s achievements here.
