Connie Coffey has been Executive Vice President, Corporate Controller and Chief Accounting Officer at General Motors Financial Company, Inc. (GMF), the global captive finance company providing automobile financing solutions for General Motors, since June 2014.Previously she was Executive Vice President and Corporate Controller from 2012 to 2014. In her current role, she is globally responsible for the external reporting of results, technical accounting matters, tax matters and internal control oversight for GMF.  She started her career with GMF’s predecessor, AmeriCredit Corp, in 1999. Since that time she has held a number of different accounting roles within GMF. She is currently a member of GMF’s Executive Leadership team.

Prior to joining AmeriCredit Corp. in 1999, she was an audit manager with PricewaterhouseCoopers serving clients in the financial services industry, including regional banks and finance companies.

She is a member of Texas Christian University’s Accounting Advisory Board and is a Texas CPA.  She graduated in 1993 from Texas Christian University with a BBA in Accounting.  She is married and has 2 sons, ages 16 and 13.
