Dallas City Head

Martha Nelson is currently Head of Tax and a Senior Director in the finance team at Priority Power, a diversified energy management services, procurement, and energy infrastructure development firm focused on delivering sustainable energy solutions to its clients and accelerating the clean energy transition. A trusted energy industry leader for over 20 years, Priority Power is the largest independent provider of integrated C&I energy services with main offices in The Woodlands and Arlington, Texas and regional offices located across the US.
Prior to her current role, Martha was a Senior Vice President in Houlihan Lokey’s Transaction Advisory Services practice, leading both its consumer, food, and retail (CFR) industry focus and founder-owned sellside advisory focus initiatives. While at HL, she advised on more than 130 contemplated or closed middle-market transactions ranging from $5 million to $2+ billion and served on the Women@HL global leadership committee. Before joining HL, Ms. Nelson worked extensively with public and private companies of all sizes as well as high-net-worth individuals at PwC, and was actively involved in the firm’s training, recruitment, and digital upskilling/technology initiatives. In previous roles, she provided comprehensive tax, advisory, and estate planning solutions to ultra-high-net-worth individuals, closely held businesses, and family offices as well as tax consulting and compliance services to publicly traded partnerships in the energy industry.
Martha is a Certified Public Accountant licensed in the State of Texas and is an active member of several professional and non-profit organizations. Martha graduated from Southern Methodist University with a BBA in Accounting with Honors in the Liberal Arts and an MSA with dual concentrations in Assurance/Advisory and Taxation. During her time at SMU, Martha served in numerous leadership roles, including Student Ambassador to the University Admissions Committee, Secretary for the MSA Student Leadership Group, and Student Senate. She was also elected Student Body Secretary and named a National Merit Scholar.
Education

Ashleigh White is a Managing Director in the Asset Management practice of KPMG. Mrs. White began her career with Rothstein Kass in 2009 where she worked with various domestic and offshore clients within the alternative investment industry, including hedge funds, fund of funds, private equity funds and management companies. She joined KPMG as part of the Rothstein Kass acquisition in 2014 and maintains her previous responsibilities.
Mrs. White received a Bachelor of Business Administration from Baylor University and a Master of Science in Accounting from The University of Texas at Arlington. Mrs. White is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA), the Texas Society of Certified Public Accountants (TSCPA), Texas Alternative Investments Association (TAIA) and National Association of Black Accountants (NABA).
Mrs. White serves as the Treasurer for TAIA, has acted as a formal mentor to high school girls through the Foundation for the Education of Young Woman’s mentorship program and volunteers at the TurnAround Agenda Food Pantry.

Valerie is an Associate Wealth Advisor with Beacon Pointe and is responsible for partnering with advisors to provide customized and comprehensive financial plans. Before joining Beacon Pointe, Valerie worked as a Senior Client Services Manager at Ellevest. Valerie earned a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from the University of California, San Diego. She currently resides in Carrollton, Texas, and enjoys spending time with friends and family.
Networking
Saaniya is a Vice President in Liquidity Management at Comerica Bank, where she combines technical expertise and strategic leadership to drive key initiatives in Treasury.
With a strong foundation in finance and a proven track record of executing high-impact projects, Saaniya is committed to ongoing professional development and is always eager to explore new opportunities to contribute to the evolving landscape of treasury management and financial strategy.

Shule Han is a Senior Manager in the asset management tax practice and has over 12 years of experience in the Financial Services industry. She has extensive experience in the private equity and hedge fund industry providing tax compliance services in conjunction with client specific investment strategies, researching and creating effective solutions.
Shule has worked with various private equity, hedge fund and family offices to ensure tax efficient structuring. She has managed numerous client engagements relating to Tax Compliance, State and Local tax planning, International tax compliance and Management Company Tax Provisions.
Shule also has extensive experience in the Oil and Gas industry and a wide range of entity structures.
Shule received her Masters of Science in Accounting from the May School of Business at Texas A&M University. She currently serves as the networking Committee for Texas Wall Street Women. She is also active in For the Love of the Lake every Saturday for monthly Shoreline Spruce Up at White Rock Lake Park and local animal shelter.

Hiral Shah is a Director for Grant Thornton’s Advisory Services in Dallas focusing on business valuations. Hiral assists clients with business enterprise valuations, common and preferred stock valuations, mergers and acquisition analysis, and intangible asset valuations.
Hiral’s clients range from multinational corporations to start-up companies. She advises clients for financial and tax reporting, litigation support and strategic planning purposes. Prior to joining Grant Thornton in 2016, Hiral worked as a Senior Manager with Duff & Phelps, a global valuation consulting firm. Prior to her time with Duff & Phelps, she has worked with Healthcare Appraisers, a boutique healthcare consulting firm and prior to that with CBIZ Valuation Group, a national independent valuation firm. Hiral is a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) and holds a Masters of Business Administration in Finance from University of Texas, Arlington and a Bachelor of Engineering, Computer Science from University of Mumbai.
Philanthropy
Rianna Carter is an experienced Senior assurance associate for BDO, LLP, an international public accounting firm. Rianna serves as the engagement in-charge for clients from various industries. Her primary focus involves audits for private equity funds. She graduated from Southern Methodist University with a Bachelor of Business Administration in Accounting and Oklahoma City University with a Master of Science in Accounting.
Ali’s primary discipline is transaction services with a focus on buy, sell-side and carve-out engagements. Her background also includes founding and building-out Baker Tilly’s fund administration platform (private equity and real estate), working on strategy and management consulting engagements, and developing key accounts throughout the US. Ali also focuses on identifying and serving private equity firms and their portfolio companies.
Ali has actively participated in or consulted on 150+ transactions with total deal value over $5bn.
Prior to joining Baker Tilly, Ali was an investment professional at Rubicon Technology Partners in Menlo Park, California, where she focused on completing private equity transactions, collaborating closely with management teams on operational initiatives, and active management of several investments. Working at a start-up private equity fund was an experience that is foundational to who Ali is today to see transactions through the eyes of a private equity investor, a truly unique perspective in transaction advisory.
Ali began her career at PwC and MCG in audit. Ali was also a manager in Grant Thornton’s Transaction Advisory Services group working on both transaction diligence and integration.
Ali also leads Baker Tilly’s GROW (growth and retention of women) chapter in North Texas and is truly passionate about creating an environment at Baker Tilly for women to grow, develop, and ultimately thrive.
Liliya works as a Private Wealth Advisor on a team that serves high net-worth individuals in the Southwest United States. Before joining Goldman Sachs, she worked at Deloitte Consulting, advising Forbes 100 companies. Liliya holds her BBA and MBA from Southern Methodist University.
Ekaterina (“Katya”) G. Long is an experienced complex commercial trial lawyer. She focuses her practice on banking and finance litigation, partnership and ownership disputes, and trade secret litigation. Katya litigates such cases as breach of contract, fraud, theft of trade secrets, breach of fiduciary duty, defamation, and business disparagement. She has substantive experience in anti-SLAPP litigation, obtaining dismissals of business and commercial lawsuits at the pre-trial level.
She is known for providing effective and efficient client service. Clients select Katya when they need a tenacious and sophisticated counsel who is aligned with their business goals and is able to deliver the desired results in an ethical manner.
Katya attended the University of Dallas, where she earned a B.A. in English and Business, summa cum laude and was a part of Phi Beta Kappa 2010. She also graduated from Southern Methodist University, Dedman School of Law, J.D., 2016
Katie Marshall is Vice President, Business Development Officer for PNC Business Credit, PNC’s senior secured lending group. She is responsible for identifying and executing on lending opportunities with existing and prospective clients in North Texas and Oklahoma. Katie has been with PNC Business Credit since graduating from the University of Pittsburgh in 2006 and has held many different roles within the organization since joining in June 2007, including collateral, credit and origination based roles. Katie graduated with Bachelor of Science in Business Administration degree, majoring in Finance and Accounting and minoring in French.
Outside of PNC, Katie is involved with many different professional and non-profit organizations. She currently serves as a board member for the DFW Chapter of the TMA, co-chairing the University Relations committee. Additionally, Katie serves on the Women’s and Young Professionals’ Committees of the DFW ACG and on the Philanthropy Committee of Texas Wall Street Women’s Dallas chapter. Katie is a supporter of the arts and enjoys traveling, running and reading in her spare time.
Rebecca Montes is a Client Specialist, for Edge Capital Partners. Rebecca works with Portfolio Managers and Senior Investment Advisers to meet clients’ daily needs. Rebecca previously worked as an Investment Analyst in San Antonio, Texas and is a CFA Level II Candidate. She is born and raised from El Paso, Texas and attended St. Mary’s University in San Antonio where she earned a Bachelor of Arts in Finance. In addition to her involvement in Texas Wall Street Women, Rebecca actively encourages women to pursue careers in finance through her volunteer work with CFA Dallas/Fort Worth.
