Spring has sprung here in Texas and our committees have some amazing events lined up for you so far. Of course, we have our flagship 10th annual State of the Markets coming up on Thursday, April 25th, 2019 in Dallas. This year we are honored to have the legendary Alice Gould and CIO of the Year TJ Carlson joining us. With the recent market turmoil, you will not want to miss this event! We have 3 events left in March – a lovely happy hour in Houston at Sonoma Wine Bar; shopping and cocktails at Tory Burch in Dallas, and a lunch and book discussion in Austin featuring Bad Blood: Secrets & Lies in a Silicon Valley Startup, so you have spring break week to finish this page turner before the event!

Aside from the April 25th State of the Markets in Dallas, we will be hosting an Austin workshop detailing practical steps you can take now to prepare for a paid board seat. Many companies are looking to add more diverse directors, and the speakers we have will provide you with the road map to get there.

Finally, in May, we will be hosting our 7th annual C-Suite dinner in Dallas and our inaugural C-Suite dinner in Austin. For those that have not attended one of these events, they are a unique opportunity to get candid advice from women that have made it to the C-Suite and want to help you succeed. These events sell out, so book early.

YWPN is looking for summer internships for its students! These girls are accomplished and motivated and our member companies who have hosted them in the past repeat their participation in the program because these young women have made strong contributions.
