Novartis AG will withhold 15% of legal fees if diversity targets are not met. From the more good news file, eighteen companies added a woman to their board in October and six of those women were black. The increase comes in response to the nationwide protest over the killing of George Floyd. We can all hope that more gains for women and minorities is the silver lining in the tragedy. With no real end in sight, companies are starting to get creative in helping their staff cope.
