Tina L. Hernandez

Overall Chairman and Dallas Head

Ms. Hernandez graduated from Cornell University with a B.A. in Government. She began her career with Dean Witter as a junior analyst in their mutual fund unit.  Ms. Hernandez moved to San Francisco in the mid 90s becoming an equity trader with Montgomery Asset Management.  She subsequently spun out to help form Avalon Global Asset Management, a hedge fund start-up with a technology bias.    In 2003 Ms. Hernandez migrated to Texas to become the Senior Trader at Precept Asset Management, a long-short discipline supported by options strategies.    Ms. Hernandez was later employed by Arbitex Asset Management, L.P. where she traded a portion of the convertible bond portfolio;  the convertible group later spun out to form Tugar Capital Management.   Ms. Hernandez is a member of the Advisory Council for the FEYW where she supports the mentoring program and fund raising efforts for the Irma Lerma Rangel Young Women’s Leadership School.

Lynne Fowler

Ann Richards School Volunteer Leader
Chairman — Austin

Lynne was formally a Senior Equity Analyst for Employees Retirement System of Texas. As part of the energy team, she focused on global utilities and transportation infrastructure.

Lynne began her financial career at ING Barings as an associate in the Natural Resources Group. After a couple of years of banking, Lynne joined a broadband telecom company where she served as Director of Corporate Development. Following the telecom bubble, Lynne applied her investment banking and corporate experience to distressed debt. Lynne joined ERS as a credit analyst and transitioned to public equities in 2008.


Claire H. Darr, Esq.

Assistant General Counsel, Jasper Ridge Partners
Chairman — Fort Worth

Claire H. Darr is an Assistant General Counsel of Jasper Ridge Partners and provides legal support exclusively to the firm.  Prior to joining Jasper Ridge Partners, Ms. Darr was a Senior Associate in the Corporate and Securities Practice Group of Haynes and Boone, LLP. Ms. Darr holds a J.D. degree from Southern Methodist University, Dedman School of Law and an LLB (Hons) degree from the University of Northumbria, United Kingdom.


Raluca Dalea

Macquarie Bank Limited – Representative Office
Chairman — Houston

Raluca is a Senior Vice President in the Energy Markets Division at Macquarie Bank, where she focuses on structuring capital solutions for companies in the upstream space. Prior to Macquarie she worked as a Research Associate covering the Utilities & Power sector at Deutsche Bank Securities Inc. Before joining Deutsche Bank, she worked as an Associate in investment banking in the Global Industries Group at Banc of America Securities Inc. Raluca began her career in equity portfolio management at JP Morgan Investment Management. Raluca graduated cum laude from Mount Holyoke College with a B.A. in Economics and received her M.B.A. from The University of Texas at Austin, McCombs School of Business. In her spare time Raluca and her husband enjoy the cultural life in the Houston theater district as well as international travel.
