Alison Hermann, CAIA Investment Director, Trinity University, San Antonio City Head

An endowment professional with experience investing across asset classes, Alison joined Trinity University’s $1.8bn endowment in 2019. She focuses on monitoring, due diligence and sourcing of primarily Marketable investment managers as well as operational initiatives to continue institutionalizing the university’s Office of Investments. Previously, she was a member of the Marketable Alternatives team at UTIMCO for seven years, providing qualitative and quantitative research, sourcing, due diligence and monitoring across hedge fund strategies. At that time, the team of 5 managed nearly 1/3 of the endowment’s assets. Alison began her career in asset management at Austin Capital, a former fund of funds, in 2007. Prior, she held positions in fixed income and capital finance. A Midwest native, she received her Bachelors of Science in Finance from Indiana University and MBA from Butler University. Alison holds the Chartered Alternatives Investment Analyst certification and has been active in the Texas Wall Street Women organization since its launch, including serving as Austin’s Education Committee Chair and current overall Board Member and City Head for San Antonio.

Alison and her husband, Will, live in San Antonio with their three girls- Julia (14), Sophie and Whitney (10).

Julie K. Gerron, CFA General Counsel & CCO, Sendero, San Antonio

Julie has comprehensive experience in the investment management industry, overseeing legal and compliance programs, advising senior management on strategic, legal, and compliance matters, and developing and implementing corporate policies and procedures. At Sendero®, she utilizes this expertise to benefit clients and colleagues in a climate of constantly changing regulations.

Julie joined Sendero® in the spring of 2023, after spending nearly 20 years with Westwood Holdings Group Inc. in Dallas, where she served as General Counsel and Chief Compliance Officer. She also spent time as a portfolio manager for another SEC-registered investment adviser in Dallas. Prior to working in investment management, Julie worked for various state entities in Oklahoma.

Julie graduated from the University of Texas in Austin with a Bachelor of Business Administration in Finance and received her law degree from the University of Texas Law School. She is a member of the State Bar of Texas and Oklahoma. Julie earned the CFA® designation in 2003.

Keri Moses SVP, Mortgage Lender/Civic & Trade Association Manager, Jefferson Bank, San Antonio

Keri graduated from Southern Methodist University with a Bachelor’s Degree in Finance. She began her career as a mortgage loan officer in 1999. Since then, she has worked hard to establish herself as one of San Antonio’s top mortgage loan producers. Keru has consistently earned a spot on the San Antonio Business Journal’s annual list of Top 25 Residential Mortgage Lenders. 

In addition to work, Keri is actively involved in the community. She has served as a board member or volunteer for the following organizations: Texas Biomedical Forum, Impact San Antonio, GreaterSATX, SA2020, United Way, the San Antonio and New Braunfels Food Banks, and the Unicorn Center.

Keri and her husband have three boys and two yellow Labrador retrievers. They love spending their free time at their place in Marfa.
