Director of Alternative Fund Services, Burgher Haggard

Shea has over twenty years of experience in the financial industry.  She serves at a fractional CFO, complete with an entire back office team, for funds in the alternative investment industry.  Prior to joining Burgher Haggard, she was a Partner and CFO for PTA Capital, an emerging Private Equity fund.  Shea served as the National Technical Advisor for the Investment Funds Industry at the IRS.  She has Big 4 Accounting firm experience in both Mergers and Acquisitions due diligence and structuring, as well as running the Alternative Investment Industry platform for the Ernst & Young Dallas office.  Prior to her accounting work, she was an Investment Banker in NYC, focused on tax advantaged structured finance.  Shea serves on the Board for the Texas Hedge Fund Association and the Host Committee for GIBI – Great Investor’s Best Ideas Symposium. Shea is a graduate of Texas A&M University, BBA and Masters in Tax, and holds her CPA license in the State of Texas
