Joelle Mevi

Joelle MeviJoelle Mevi, panel moderator, is the Executive Director/Chief Investment Officer of the $2.1 billion Fort Worth Employees’ Retirement Fund. Joelle works with the Fund’s Board to provide leadership on investment and administrative decisions that include asset allocation, actuarial evaluations, policy and governance, strategic planning, risk management and budgeting. She is also responsible for the management of the Fund office, staff, and systems. Joelle has worked in government finance at both the municipal and state levels since 1994.
Joelle holds a Government Finance Manager Certification from the Association of Government Accountants and a Certificate of Achievement in Public Plan Policy from the International Foundation of Employee Benefit Plans. She earned an MBA from the University of New Mexico’s Anderson School of Management and a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration from California State University East Bay. Ms. Mevi is a Governance trainer for the Minimum Education for Trustees required of all Texas pension fiduciaries.
