    DanaDana Brown is a Senior Vice President in Callan’s Atlanta Fund Sponsor Consulting office. Dana works with a variety of fund sponsor clients including corporate and public defined benefit and contribution plans, as well as endowments and foundations. His responsibilities include strategic planning and implementation, investment policy development, investment manager review and selection, and performance evaluation. Dana is a member of Callan’s Defined Contribution Committee.
    Prior to joining Callan Associates, Dana was an investment consultant and practice leader at The Newport Group, primarily serving corporate defined contribution and defined benefit plans, including non-qualified plans. He was responsible for all aspects of the client relationships, including asset allocation and investment policy development, investment manager research and selection, performance evaluation and fiduciary consulting. Prior to Newport, Dana was an investment consultant and analyst at the Consulting Services Division of Morgan Stanley and an investment consulting analyst at the Consulting Group at Smith Barney. Dana started his career at SunTrust in the retirement plan services area.
    Dana earned a BBA in Finance (investments concentration) from Stetson University and an MBA (finance concentration) from the Crummer School at Rollins College. Dana is a Level II candidate in the CFA Program.
