Courtney Bucy is a Partner with Smith Street Capital and is responsible for the operations and client portfolio management of the firm. Smith Street Capital, a private investment partnership, investments in publicly traded companies operated by exceptional leaders that can deliver long term value creation for their stakeholders.
Prior to joining Smith Street Capital, Ms. Bucy had worked in the financial services industry for 9 years. Most recently, she served clients and managed businesses in the private wealth management industry at both JPMorgan and Goldman Sachs beginning in 2006. Earlier in her career, she drove business development as a Senior Vice President at Marsh McLennan and worked with an array of Fortune 500 clients at McKinsey & Company. Ms. Bucy is a board member of Krist Samaritan Center and is a sustaining member of the Junior League.
Ms. Bucy graduated with a BS in Mechanical Engineering from The University of Texas at Austin and received her MBA from Harvard Business School. She resides in West University with her husband, Bill, and their three children.
